Recently Minecraft had an update, where RTX was introduced. RTX is just a fancy name of Nvidia's series of GPUs, however those RTX graphics cards have ray-tracing. Ray-tracing is a technology which introduces shadows and reflections, in addition to that, it also makes the light source placement very important.

The best part of this new feature is that turning it on doesn't affect the framerate very much, comparing to shaders which people often use on the Java edition, where a too demanding shader pack combined with a very high resolution resource pack can even drop FPS to 5-10.

RTX seemd to work perfectly untill like a month ago. After one update suddenly my framerate dropped from 60 (which was limited by the game because I have a 60hz monitor) to 30. The weirdest part of it was that it looked like the game was just limiting my FPS to 30! However with 30 fps the game is still playable.

Because of this RTX glitch I tried installing shaders on the Java version. It only took me about 5 mins to install Optifine, which is required to run shaders. After that I found a decent shader pack, downloaded it, and everything was ready.

So without further ado, here are the links to the RTX showcase and shader video.
